Loved the article, and how it wonderfully describes finding companionship and comfort in food.

Wow Gurpreet, I loved reading that, welcome to Berlin! I am always around for food, coffee or theatre :) x

Really enjoyed this piece. Perfectly conveys the bleak loneliness of Berlin; a city secretly infamous for being so so hard to make friends in.

What a wonderful warm heartedly emotional piece of literature of a journey of a real life account of one's path. Were any person can feel a connection through with food, family and friends. I look forward to reading the next one. Thank you.

funny how author describes Germans as racists yet who exactly invited him to Berlin?? was he forced to go to live in Berlin? if you don't like it there then please spare us the condescending BS and go back the UK...

How did you land on ‘Muslims’ here??? Clearly demonstrates how far removed you remain from making sense of differentiated ethnicities

Read the thread - /s means “sarcasm” - i was replying to someone who stereotyped by also stereotyping..

same - where did I state I am German? I feel bad for the Germans having to put up with entitled illegal immigrants.
