I'm not even lying, I played this on the Lizzy line, and it aligned with the announcement of Tottenham Court Road on my phone and at the station.. spooky and prophetic, I'm gonna have a thorough listen now!
This was such a fantastic episode and bought back memories of the Soho that I remember. The fried cauliflower at Yming tasted deceptively of chicken. The most gorgeous little thimble dumplings at Gay Hussar, ice cream shakes at Ed's Easy Diner was London's way of doing Americana. I remember Byron from the days before it become a chain and I really loved the narrative from sex workers.
I could listen to a 100 of these quite easily. Loved it so much

I’m also listening to this on the Lizzy line! So nice to hear a sex worker pal on it too!
This was wonderful!
