Oh my god. That's exhausting to experience secondhand; I'm sorry you lived it. I particularly loved "no worries" in response to your correction. Ummm....WT...?
Sounds so bloody familiar. This really made me laugh but at the horror and superficiality of their stance. I have even had discussions with a very famous grocer with eau de nil branding about running a food quiz and told after several back and forth, "there is no budget, we thought you would do it as a friend of ours....many do " duh
Thank you so much for sharing this - unfortunately it's a common business practice with brands large and small these days. Ugh...Fight the good fight and don't give in! Well done, Jenny.
No offense to Pippa's, but I couldn't think of a better name...
hah!

"No worries" in lieu of "you're welcome" or "thanks" is one of my biggest bugbears.
I too have ugly email threads like this.

Sadly very familiar. It's frustrating to hear how people value but don't value your skills/work/experience.
Oh my god, that is ugly. Ugly ugly ugly.
Speechless, this should never happen!
